Bridget B’s was established in 2015 as a farm diversification project to add value to Bridget’s long established family farm based in the beautiful rolling countryside of East Hertfordshire. We pride ourselves on the quality of meat we procure & serve and the skills of our team of Craft Butchers who take great care in showcasing their modern butchery techniques offering all the family favourites mixed with an ever-evolving range of ready to cook meal options, we truly offer something for everyone.

Every visit to Bridget B's delivers, we always leave with incredible, high-quality food that never disappoints.Recently we picked up jerk chicken kebabs and steak kebabs, the marinades were absolutely spot on, perfectly spiced and full of flavour. We also grabbed a beef joint for Sunday dinner which was so tasty, one of the best roasts we have had!Bridget B's is now our go-to butcher. The quality is consistently outstanding, the prices are great James and the team are knowledgeable, friendly, and always on hand with brilliant recommendations.Highly recommended, you won't find better!

I bought two ribs of beef for Christmas lunch . Service and collection was impeccable .Can easily say it was the best piece of meat I have ever bought . It wasn't cheap, but it was worth every penny. Will be doing the same next year. Thanks guys , that was the best of British beef and British farming on a plate !

Great service lots of staff on hand to serve us. We had a time slot as it was Christmas I did not have to wait. The meat was well packed and very lean. When we cooked the meat it was loverly and tender and tasted very nice and fresh meat and very little shrinkage, unlike the joints you get from your main supermarkets. As for the price it was great value for money obviously you pay more than you would pay in a supermarket. The staff were very friendly, helpful and polite. We picked this parcel from thier farm at Sacombe. We will be buying some more meat again from them.

We visited one weekend in early 2025 and we have been back every weekend since. It has changed our philosophy to shopping, no more complaints about my dinners and we have not been back to the supermarket since. The food is fantastic and great quality. The customer service is second to none. Weekly shopping is enjoyable again. We also decided to stay at home this year and not go to the pub for Christmas Day, so glad we did as our Christmas order was amazing (beef wellington and turkey joint). Thanks to all that work there, we really appreciate you all, even Jack!!! xxx

Excellent customer service, food is simply wonderful. My wife doesn’t usually like Turkey at Christmas but the crown we bought at Bridget B’s was deliciousand wonderfully moist.The shop is located within the grounds of Pearce’s Farm shop which has excellent parking and good access onto the A10.We are so lucky to have Bridget B’s locally.Well done to the whole team we love everything you do.

Really lovely experience buying fro B's. We bothered to drive up from Barnet to buy some pork. I haven't cooked it yet but it looks fabulous. They even found some extra skin so we'll have plenty of crackling. Charming and helpful staff.

first time visiting, found Sammy and her team very helpful. Good array of things to try as well as your standard cuts of good quality meats. Nothing too much trouble if you want a particular cut or joint of something.

I have been buying from Bridget B’s for a good few years now. I have never had anything bad from there at all. The meat is always melt in the mouth and well seasoned and the customer service is lovely, friendly, polite and accommodating. The prices are quite expensive but do I mind paying for quality? Definitely not! In fact I’m going to pay them a visit again in the next half an hour 😋👍👏🏻

Found this place today and the produce is spectacular. The miso bavette skewers melt in your mouth after a turn on the BBQ and the sausages are delicious. I’ll definitely be back to try more!

Since moving to the area Bridget B’s has been this tired mummas saviour. Their spatchcock chickens and easy half prepped meals you just have to throw in the oven are amazing when you’re looking for something quick, easy, tasty and healthy. My personal favourites for when we have more time though are the beef short rib cooked low and slow with creamed spinach and mash, their steaks are always so full of flavour with some lesser known cuts available if you’d like to try something different and their lamb! The lamb is phenomenal, especially the minted lamb chops.. Their special at the moment is lamb kleftico which we can’t wait to try. Thanks for making my life easier and keeping us well fed with the highest quality meats these past few months Bridget B’s. We appreciate you!

We have been using Bridget's for the past 12 months. The meat is always first class and reasonably priced. Huge selection, excellent quality and extremely knowledgeable staff, especially Sammy and Jack, who are a absolute "credit" to the company. We wouldn't go anywhere else.

Fantastic selection of meat. Perfect for the upcoming barbecues. As a wheelchair user I found it a little tricky getting into the shop due to a lip on the door. But a helpful sales assistant rushed to help me. It is well worth a visit

Would highly recommend this butchers. We have shoped there on many occasions and the produce we purchased has been melt in the mouth 1st class. All the staff are very helpful when it comes to advice about the products even down to cooking advice. My partner Chris visited again this morning and again recived excellent friendly service. Since coming across Bridget B’s accidentally a few weeks ago at Pearce’s Farm Shop I have been back 4 times (I live around 40 minutes drive away). The meat is exceptionally good, the prices are great value and the staff are knowledgeable and very friendly.

Always have lots of meat produce to select from. You can order and collect if you know what you want before. you visit. They will do their best to order what you require with notice. Meats always good quality!

Great choice of meat, everything is fresh and the staff is lovely and helpful. We pre-ordered our Beef Wellington last week and picked it up today. It was made perfectly, the meat was tender and whole meal was top class! Definitelly recommend!

We loved today’s sausage tasting and coffee at the Bridget B’s shop in Watton - what a great idea. We particularly liked the the Ginger & Spring Onion and the Cheddar & Marmite flavours (which was a surprise as my husband really doesn’t like Marmite!) Looking forward to the demonstration on smoking meats 😊

I ordered a Beef Wellington for my husband birthday. The staff were so friendly and spoke to me twice to confirm the details and also personalised it for me. It was absolutely delicious, I don’t think I’ve ever had such a tender piece of fillet and there was definitely plenty for the four of us. Thank you

I was so lucky and won a joint of pork this weekend on the free draw, we regularly shop at the dutch nursery for bridgets meat and have done now for the past few years, my fussy daughter won't eat pork but will eat it from bridget. we now only buy our meat from bridget b.

Absolutely amazing service from Bridget! I ordered last minute (thanks to covid and tier 4 meaning our plans changed and I had no turkey!). No problem for Bridget and the team. Our turkey crown was AMAZING. One of the best turkey dinners we have ever had. LOVE the new shop at Pearce’s and regularly get our meats from there now. The venison sausages are delicious!

We are lucky to have the butchers so close in Watton. With fantastic meat options for any occasion, most recent the lamb kebabs on the bbq. My son has sausages every week as his treat hot dog meal, we enjoy them too obvs.

We will now only buy our meat from Bridget B, we go to the Dutch Nursery for ours as they have a wide range and even through Covid-19 they are still as helpful as ever. We stock our freezer up once a month till it’s bursting. Tonight we had the most amazing topside of beef which was a little large for the two of us, so they kindly made it smaller for us. We won’t go anywhere else. 5* isn’t enough! More like 10!

Picked up a couple of Filet Steaks from Walkern Stores during the week and just have to say they are probably the best steaks I have ever had, the quality of the meat was just phenomenal. Here are a lot of retailers claiming quality meats but this is the real deal, locally sourced, locally butchered and true quality. Also had the sausages and bacon and this also follows the same quality.

Quality meat at supermarket prices. Ethically reared and packed fresh. Always a great selection at the farm shop but special cuts are never any trouble. Sausages and burgers especially meaty.

We have used Bridget B’s a number of times and always been delighted. The quality of the meat and fish is superb. The staff are so friendly and helpful and go out of their way to help. They have given me suggestions of what to have, tips for cooking and made me up especially some amazing fish kebabs which wasn’t something I even knew they would do. Fantastic highly recommend!

We first used Bridget Bs shop at Watton following the lockdown due to a shortage of meat in the supermarkets. We love the meat here. Certainly a cut above what you buy in the supermarkets. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. We have been coming here every week and will continue to do so. Tender beef, chicken is not full of water. Sausages are so tasty. They are a family butcher’s help you and deliver to you always, helpful and advise you, but in this crisis they come to the fore even more they also have wonderful vegetables but the meats are superb.The village all say a big thank you, for being there, now they even open on Monday.From Sonia and Malcolm.

Love the staff really helpful and know what they are talking about. Meats are amazing and can get good selection of other bits veg, bread, sauces etc.

Super family business and an approach to beef farming that would (almost) concert a vegan. Low food miles. High qualities of animal husbandry and good advice in the butchery. There’s nowhere in 250 miles to compete.
